Job Description:
The Cost Accountant is responsible for accounting activities related to cost, inventory, & purchases, as well as monitoring cost of goods sold and factory capital expenditures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collects cost information and processes data for financial analysis
2. Monitors capital expenditure at the factory/warehouse
3. Monitors cost of goods sold (COGS)
4. Prepares reports on cost, inventory, and purchases
5. Conducts periodic inventory count and reconciliation
6. Develops and maintains a filing system for easily accessible financial information
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
Must be proficient in using MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint)
Must be detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, and can work independently
Experience in using ERP systems or other accounting systems is an advantage
Must be willing to work on-site [West Ave. Quezon City]
